He requested that the Provincial Fire Standardization Technical Committee should thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on standardization work and fire protection work, actively integrate into the national development strategy and the overall situation of the fire protection industry, give full play to the basic and leading role of standards, and promote the supply of fire protection standards. From government-led to equal emphasis on government and market, the application of standards has changed from construction standards to fire protection work. Standardization development has changed from quantity and scale to quality and efficiency, accelerate the formation of a structurally optimized, advanced, reasonable, and internationally compatible fire protection standard system and a standardized work pattern featuring government guidance, social participation, and open integration.
Jiangsu Provincial Fire Standardization Technical Committee (JS/TC16) was established in 2014. It is a work organization of professional and technical standards in the field of fire protection in our province approved by the Provincial Market Supervision Administration. The secretariat is undertaken by the Provincial Fire Rescue Corps and is responsible for the standardization of fire protection in the province. Technical centralized work, mainly responsible for organizing the revision and review of local fire protection standards, the publicity and implementation of fire protection professional and technical standards, the popularization of fire protection standardization and academic exchanges. Since its establishment, the Standard Committee has formulated and promulgated 12 local standards and is in the process of formulating 6. "Civil Building Gas Safety Code", "Electric Bicycle Parking and Charging Place Fire Protection Design Code", "Building Electrical Fire Protection Design Standard", etc. fill the gaps in relevant domestic fields, "Building Fire Protection Facilities Inspection Technical Regulations", "Enterprise Full-time Fire Brigade Construction and Management Regulations" and other local characteristics of Jiangsu.
