At 18:00 on March 21, Suolong Fire received an emergency notification from the Jiangsu Fire Rescue Corps of the Emergency Management Department, Taizhou Fire Detachment, Changzhou Fire Detachment and other rescue teams, and immediately called for the support of the anti-solvent aqueous film-forming foam fire extinguishing agent. Rescue scene. The company’s leaders attached great importance to emergency response overnight, organized an emergency meeting for all staff, and quickly carried out the preparation of rescue supplies. At about 19:00, the company's 4 engineers and technicians rushed to the scene of the accident with the first batch of rescue materials to participate in the rescue work.
As of 1 a.m. on the 22nd, Suolong Company had dispatched 7 large trucks to the scene of the accident to dispatch and transport nearly 200 tons of anti-solvent aqueous film-forming foam fire extinguishing agent for rescue materials. At present, the fire has been under control, and the live video shows that the fire extinguishing foam sprayed has reached the chest depth.
Firefighters went deep into the factory to search and rescue the trapped people. Several injured and buried people were found in the ruins of the park. After the firefighters tried their best to rescue them, the buried people were rescued one after another.
A total of 41 fire trucks and 188 firefighters were at the scene to carry out disposal. The Jiangsu Fire Rescue Corps mobilized 62 fire trucks and 247 firefighters from Taizhou, Yancheng, Lianyungang, Huai'an, Suqian and Jiangsu Corps training bases to rush to the scene for reinforcements.
In addition, the National Health Commission has dispatched 11 medical experts from the National Health Emergency Team (Jiangsu) to the scene and transferred experts in critical care, burns and neurosurgery from Ruijin Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and Beijing Anding Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. Psychological intervention experts rushed to the local area on the evening of the 21st.
